The new ThinkPad notebooks achieve up to a 70 percent improvement in efficiency over previous generation notebooks with power management features providing customers maximum energy savings up to 47 percent greater than before. These new notebooks are also rated silver by the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool that institutions use to evaluate, compare and select PC products based on their environmental attributes. The ThinkCentre M55 desktop improves energy efficiency up to 52 percent over previous versions. The desktop features an 80 percent efficient power supply for lower energy costs and usage and less heat emissions, which help improve the reliability of the power supply, decrease system maintenance and further help extend PC life.
