City Night Glitter: Art of Light Show
Hampered by tightening government regulation and restrictions, ad marketers are looking for video ads as an alternative. Rising demands for video ads is surfacing as a new hot commodity in global IT market. Race for service providers to become forerunner in the global video system market is on.

Recent showcase, Korean IT service Co. LG CNS has successfully completed installing video display system for IT fashion show company, T-Box Digital Exhibition center in city of Guangzhou, China.



T-Box Digital Exhibition Ltd. earlier this month introduced its first all IT exhibition center, located in Guangzhou CBD business area. The 3- level exhibition center with total 88,582 square feet handles all IT related exhibition, media and sales. It¡¯s the city¡¯s biggest, state of art press media and communication platform.

The completed project consisted of installing LG's 300 sq. meter high resolution LED display on exterior wall of T-Box exhibition building, 8 meter high 16:9 HD screens and LCD screens, LED video tile, handrail LED and visual effect lighting systems for the interior.

Beside the latest project, LGCNS previously had installed similar visual display systems for Las Vegas FSE, New York Time Square and other large scale systems.


High definition LED display system in the Fremont Street, Las Vegas was installed June last year. The HD LED system which measures 30H X 32W X 420L meters has 8.9 million LED lamps with powerful audio-acoustic effects, undoubtly one of the very best systems in the world.

Its real time display system runs on less energy; saves electricity by 70% and saves maintenance cost by 60%


The New York Time Square system has 4 High-Def screens. This system has design that interacts main screen and back screen which are equipped with special effects multi screens (4 main and back screens, respectively). The main screen measures 12.8m X 9.6m and back screen, 25.6m X 15.2m.


The system for Piccadilly Circus in England has round shaped design measures 9.6m x 5.2m. It¡¯s a video display and a ticker system. It also enables interactive display using mobile phone, PDA and etc. with real time TV broadcasting capability.


LG CNS also installed first ever LED system in African Continent. Cairo International Stadium in Egypt is the biggest stadium in the world which can hold capacity of 95,000 spectators. The system has automatic LED dimming control by the sun light and measures 15m X 9m.


LG CNS also installed LED system in Gwang-Wha-Moon, Seoul Korea. The screen size of 14m X 8m can carry live broadcasts and global network monitoring.


SD system inside Lotte World (Seoul) has screen size of 3.84m X 2.3m. This LED TV concept system has state-of-the-art luxury design which can be visible in any position with its SMD-type 160¡Æ viewing angle on both sides. It allows linking to events: live broadcasts, movie presentations, SMS, real-time broadcasts, etc.


Besides LED screens, LG CNS also provide LCD panel systems. The system In Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas consists of LCD Wall (15¡± LCD 180 SETS) and 5m x 3m big screen which maximizes advertising/publicity effects by producing a variety of contents and Eye-catching, various scenarios. This system is well known for its cost effective solution.
