Hassle-free Next-G Digital Door Lock System
Advanced home and office security management system that can control digital door locks via cell phone was introduced by Korean venture company, Euro Electronics Co.,Ltd. , with the buzz taking the security and protection to the next level.

Digital Door Lock (DDL) is an electronics locking system that operates by combination of key, security password or number codes which can provide more convenient, secure protection with higher reliability over the conventional locking systems. In recent trend, latest high tech DDL devices can monitor and provide access (who gets in and out) log data in real-time base, transaction records and live video feeds and live communications. It allows controlling both home and office environment simultaneously.

The newly introduced Euro Electronics' DDL was developed based on combination of digital and analog system (Digital+Analog). The system features credit card proximity reader, Push & Pull Type Digital Door Lock with Multi-Mortise technology.

It accepts both SmartCard and manual passcode to unlock, in the event of power outages, fire or system failure (motor), system can be unlocked with simple turn of a knob from inside and from the outside, its analog card key system unlocks the door after the password verification, things like ID card or business card or credit card can be used to manually unlock the system.

Unlike conventional electronics locks become inoperative with power failure, the DDL can be unlocked using a coin in such event. The slim outer design with highly impact resistant stainless material was used for the durability and reliability.

It also comes with 'ZigBee' an internal video transmitter module that operates wireless home networking system. For example, using remote video monitoring control, surveillance (within 100m range) from bedroom or surrounding areas are possible; two way intercom function, remote unlocking. Other functions include window and motion sensor, camera module, remote control, lighting control, electric and gas control sensors with wireless override controls to wall-pad and gates.

One of the distinct features of this door lock system is its ability to open the door from remote location using its 'K.merce Lock System'. The system utilizes user ID stored in user's cell phone SIM Card. Using RF antenna, upon successful verification of the ID match of SIM Card with preprogrammed ID on the unit, the door can be unlocked.

The standard door lock model is offered around $300, optional cell phone capability model at $600.

With the rapid growth in commercial and residential housing and apartments globally, security market and particularly digital door lock sector has shown 20 percent growth each year since 2002. The growth combined with ubiquitous trend favors continuing growth in security and home automation.

Euro Electronics has been making various digital door lock products and holds patent rights from SmartCard/Cell phone door locks to promotional sticker door locks. In recent, the company has developed world's first "do it yourself" type door lock that is simple enough for the consumers to install without the professional hire. The very first Euro Electronics digital door lock system was installed on 'World Meridian' apartment complex in city of Youngin in Kyunggi province and busan metropolitan city. It is also being exported to Japanies companies like UNITED,.Co.Ltd in Tokyo and a housing remodeling company, Sennennomor Inc.
