"With new Windows CE 5.0, it supports various applications; boot into Linux Qtopia-based interface allows playing all kinds of games and using various open source applications possible. And through early marketing product tests, the computer enthusiasts has revealed no conflicts using the dual OS" explained by product maker, Yukyung Technologies.

The new viliv P2 features a 4.3'color LCD and with touch-pad, touch screen for easy navigation. Its flash player makes playing flash animation and games a joy. Its robust support to a variety of media formats; packed in entire office in a pocket like MS office, document viewer and a 260.000 vocabulary dictionary with full audio pronunciation.

The Viliv P2 comes in DMB model and option of GPS. It comes in 8 different models with network ready and power package options. Its overlay function, enables watching DMB broadcast and roadmap navigation on one screen simultaneously.

The P2 network-ready model comes with 'Windows CE Professional Plus' allowing e-mail, surfing web with wireless internet (with optional external unit of GPS module) possible. Both DMB and Navigation models come with 32GB hard drives.

NetForce PMP

Even more capabilities with HSDPA support
Another PMP from digital Cube, ‘NetForce’ offers HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) wireless internet, e-mail and messenger fuctionality. It’s highly anticipated but wont be available until end of year. It’s a fully-fledged multimedia player, that can download virtually any kinds of audio/video contents by wireless LAN.

"This product incorporated Windows CE 5.0, which enables simple PC operations too. It’s a new concept for the portable media player, it will be available starting next month." the manufacturer said.

With Windows CE 5.0 running, it can handle not only multimedia, but also some of office function and documents. The NetForce offers 800X480, Full 4.3 inch color LCD display with twice the clarity.

Blue Academy PMP

Simple functionality, affordable, perfect for college prep students
Another PMP putout by Electec, ‘Blue Academy’ is aimed for middle to high school students who attend to internet classes. It was made with features and budget specially for these students in mind from the onset

The Blue Academy comes with 4.3 inch wide TFT-LCD screen and economic slim design (19mm, 260g). It can play music and display texts simultaneously. "Soon, firmware upgrades will be made available to support image files while listening to a music file." said Elentec.

It also offers English video lessons to aid students learn conversation skills. Its runs $269 for 20 giga byte and $309 for 30 giga byte models@
