Super thin DMB phone that satisfies two hottest words on current cell phone market ‘Ultra-Slim’ and ‘DMB’ just came out.

Samsung Electronics announced the release of ultra slim (13.5mm), satellite DMB phone (model: SCH-B500) on the 26th, July.

An official spokesperson form Samsung said, “Compare to bulky and square DMB phones that we are used to, this model is so thin and light, caring it inside the top pocket of suit jacket will not even be noticeable and this model just broke the stereo type image of the ‘thick and heavy’ DMB phones we are custom to.”

The Samsung’s latest ultra slim DMB phone has a large QVGA LCD screen with features like 2-mega pixel camera, MP3, Bluetooth, black UI, 3D text messaging, Anycall Band (music download) and file viewer.

It even has an extra feature; 3 popular Korean nursery tales like ‘Sun and Wind’ and ‘Rabbit and turtle’ which can be narrated in four different languages (Audio book). Samsung said, “The first ever offered audio book feature with satellite DMB phone can serve as an educational tool and same time promote as a mobile educational medium too.”

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics’ communication dept head Keetae Lee said, “We will continue to introduce the latest high tech features and slim design DMB phones to lead the global mobile TV market.”
